Mike lives in Silverdale with his wife, Erika. Mike grew up in Washington. He graduated from North Thurston High School in 1969 and finished his Bachelor of Science and Masters degrees at the University of Washington in Seattle. Mike taught science, mathematics and computer applications in Washington's public and private secondary schools for ten years. His older daughter, Leeann finished college, married and now has a little girl, Summer. She and Jared reside in Idaho. His younger daughter, Heidi, just finished college and is now serving with AmeriCorp in Florida.

In 1990 Windermere Real Estate invited Mike to join their team in Silverdale. Since then he has completed hundreds of residental property sales. He has earned the Certified Residential Specialist, GRI and Associate Broker designations.

Photography is Mike's recreational passion. He's a member of the NW Photographic Society. He recently received the society's 2006 Annual Photojournalism Award and traveling trophy for his Crew Racing photo at the Windermere Cup Races in Seattle. Some of his work is on display and for sale at the Made in Bremerton Store. More work will soon be on display at a major art gallery in Gig Harbor. Mike is currently shooting with the digital Nikon D70. His home listing photos are fun to view. Keep an eye on his work.

. . . to go the extra mile. At times, literally. "A client recently told me that years ago I had traveled down to Olympia to meet them on their boat in the marina. We were selling their home and some final signatures were needed. I didn't even remember the incident, but I wasn't surprised I did it."
